Où est la neige?!?

So it has been a skinny few weeks where the white stuff is concerned, early spring weather has been the norm across the major French resorts.

Piste of Mind get around in the course of our ski carriage and delivery duties so if you are hedging your bets for a last minute booking look to the high resorts. Our recommendations are: Val d'Isere, Tignes, Courcheval 1850 and La Plagne but again you have to get up to 1800. Stay high but beware of ice on the runs down into the valleys.

Remember to check the avalanche reports and ride safe!

Snow chains in Bognor............

The weather provided a difficult start to Piste of Mind's season; with the country at a standstill and the airports closed we set off to begin our collections. Our alpine driving experience and winterised vehicles stood us in good stead as we battled through the frozen wastes of Croydon and we even resorted to snow chains on the M23 and in Bognor! Despite the weather Piste of Mind collected all 21 pieces of luggage and delivered them safely to resort.

We are hoping that that is the worst that Mother Nature has in store for us but we coped well and maintained our 100% success rate. Travel light!
